Response

The design called for a fitout in an old brick and concrete warehouse. The floor and ceiling was stripped back with brick walls and concrete ceiling painted. Down one side were placed service areas such as the editing studios & computer server room. Timber battens were introduced to temper the colourfull acoustic paneled walls hiding the service area. Lounge and informal seating was arranged along the street side windows, with access to the most natural light.

Key Features

  • Acoustic wall panels made from recycled plastic bottles
  • Hardwood timber battens that can be easily recycled
  • Exposed structural concrete floor
